Abstract:
Recently developed nonlinear reconstruction method is expected to be useful in low redshift
high density galaxy surveys. In this talk, I will present the performance tests of nonlinear
reconstruction on baryon acoustic oscillation measurement from the simulated dark matter and
halo samples. The number of available linear modes is increased by a factor of 12 for SDSS-
MGS like sample. The applications on redshift-space distortions, velocity reconstruction,
initial condition reconstruction of the local Universe is also introduced.
